"Overall, Cynthia is a clever and atmospheric short horror film which plays around with familiar conventions, making it a little bit different from the norm and well worth nine minutes of your time." - Sean Markey Krank.ie.com Read the full article here.

Cynthia is a psychological thriller that explores the blurry line between guilt, punishment, and the supernatural. Rooted in themes of toxic control and spiritual reckoning, the story takes viewers deep into the mind of a man who refuses to accept the consequences of his abusive behavior—until he wakes up in a place that won’t let him forget.

Filmed in Brooklyn on a modest budget, Cynthia relies on strong performances and psychological tension rather than gore. The sound design and lighting choices enhance the surreal, dreamlike setting, immersing viewers in the protagonist's mental and metaphysical descent.

My feature film The Luring was heavily influenced by my short film Cynthia which was shot in my apartment in Carroll Gardens before I was priced out. Both deal with a narcissistic character who manipulates someone who deserves better. The devil is always a fun character to write in and the makeup artist worked on both films. I like producing creepy films and if you like them, I invite you to check out our YouTube channel.
