Dodgeball (Sketch Comedy) is a bizarre and surreal short film featuring a hyper weirdo who targets an injured man with an onslaught of dodgeballs in a gymnasium. With each red rubber ball thrown in a fit of rage, the injured man succumbs to the chaos, falling to the ground in agony while the barrage continues. But is this just a strange comedy, or is it secretly a social commentary on the current state of our healthcare system? You decide. And just when things couldn’t get any weirder, the madman inexplicably starts vacuuming. What’s going on here? Prepare for absurdity, dark humor, and a little room for interpretation. Join the maddens.

Thank you for watching our weird short film Dodgeball. This was shot in Brooklyn after hours so not to interfere with their daily programming. I think we started around 10PM and didn’t get out till about 3AM. This short was a lot of fun because it’s so strange and the characters were so much fun to play. I still have and use that vacuum.
