Trunk Space is a short film I directed back when I was attending SVA. This was shot in the middle of nowhere somewhere in NJ. We shot over 2 weekends because it rained and we had to go back a month later. No was getting paid so this was a labor of love. No animals were harmed during the shooting of this dark comedy.

Trunk Space was a crazy experience. When my DP came up to me and said he can’t set up the lights because someone forgot to get a permit to close down the dark, desolate road in the middle of nowhere NJ, I wasn’t sure what I should do or suggest. Thankfully there was an abandoned field and the rest is history. We would have had a totally different film. In the original, the driver doesn’t fall asleep and swerve off the road.
