New Poster for Elimination Strain
We are very excited to announce the new poster for our short film Elimination Strain which will be made into a feature. Elimination Strain is a proof of concept which means it’s a short film that is a taste of a bigger project- feature film.
The film poster is of course a marketing tool to use for your film, everyone knows that but what a lot of people don’t know is the amount of thought that goes into it and the level of collaboration it takes, getting opinions from a trusted team of horror enthusiasts and of course working closely with the graphic designer. Each element of the poster is scrutinized, from the tagline’s color to the the amount of clipart that’s placed in the title (the black tar looking stuff) so it’s a very nice feeling to have something that fully represents our film because we are perfectionists. Incorporating the glitch effect from our film and placing that element on our poster is a nice touch and gives a nice visual and sets up the viewer. We think it captures our film perfectly. Make sure you check out our trailer and we will be announcing what film festivals we’ll be showcasing in as soon as we learn. Fingers crossed!
