1) How did you hear about the audition for The Luring?

I saw the luring audition posted on Actors Access..

2) What did you do to prepare for your role?

To prepare for my role I tried to get inside the head of my character and concentrate on my motivation in the scene

3) What was it like to be part of this film in comparison to other productions?

It was great to be a part of this production as it was small and intimate with the cast and crew .... It was nice to see and enjoyed working with a female DP which I've never worked with before..

4) In the bowling ally scene, your character is very memorable, why do you think that is?

I think my character is memorable because of the intensity, vocal Timbre change and contrast of his demeanor I brought to the role.

5) Your character recites a rhyme that foreshadows the murder of another character, your delivery is chilling then you sort of pop back into reality. How was that as an actor to prepare as I imagine that wasn’t easy?

In regards to reciting the rhyme and popping back into reality I really don't overthink things.. I just go with the flow in the moment.

6) What is your background and how did you get into acting?

I got into acting at a young age.. was always fascinated by film and how it could transport you and connect with you emotionally ..I was always the outspoken one at family gatherings Etc.haha. . I took some classes and did a ton of student films.. any film that would cast me I would do just to be on set ..to meet people and learn... I wanted to be in the trenches with them as they were learning as opposed to being in a classroom getting a degree.

7) Is The Luring the only psychological thriller you’ve been part of?

Yes The luring is the only psychological Thriller I've been involved with but I hope more to follow.

8) What other projects are you involved with?

I'm working on two projects right now but unfortunately I cant discuss them since NDA's were signed.

9) Christopher is sited as saying you scared him during the audition and made him feel uncomfortable, this is a huge compliment, can you talk about your mindset going into the audition and why you left such an impact on the director?

Originally the direction in the breakdown was for my character Danny to be rude to Claire ...knowing this was a psychological Thriller I wanted not just to be rude but to make him standout. ...display Danny being more creepy and Evil when it came to being rude .. it's about making a choice taking the risk and standing out at an audition .. bringing something to the table the director might not have envisioned that could book you the role... I thought my choice was more appropriate for the theme of the film so I went with my gut, took the risk and thankfully it worked in my favor.

10) What advice would you give actors?

My advice to anyone in the Performing Arts would be don't give up ...believe in yourself ... be polite ... easy to work with and listen when it comes to taking Direction ...take criticism with a grain of salt ..you're going to come across a lot of negative people in this business but if you believe in yourself and stay in the game long enough Talent always wins in the end.... get to know young upcoming filmmakers. .. do any project that wants you within reason.. the more people you meet on this journey the better.

11) As an actor, what motivates you in terms of working with a director? What advice would you give directors?

What motivates me about working with directors is when they allow the actor to give their input instead of being just a playback machine.. a director that is open to a change in the dialogue ...where the actor might be feeling the dialogue from the character's perspective differently than what's written.. a director that is open to hearing what an actor has to say... Christopher Wells is definitely in this category.

12) What was the rehearsal process like or did you only get a chance to rehearse on set?

I'm not a guy that likes to rehearse a lot.. I usually like to go for it because sometimes you miss magic moments that happen in a rehearsal and you might not be able to get them back on a take .. in my scene we didn't rehearse much at all if I remember correctly.

13) Talk to me about the actual location of the bowling ally? Where was it and what was it like once you got there in terms of helping you get into character?

The bowling alley location was way up in Vermont close to the Canadian border . it definitely had its charm considering how old it was... how my scene was lit and the surrounding structure definitely helped the creepiness come out in my character.

14) How was it working with Christopher Wells and his crew?

Working with Christopher and his crew was a pleasure......very professional end easy to communicate with.. I hope we can work together again in the future.

15) What is it like to be part of The Luring, being on set and then see it on a major platform? Most films don’t get this far and as an actor that must be nice to see a film you’re in actually get a distribution deal.

Yes I have done a lot of Indie films and they've never seen the light of day once they do the festival circuit... it was such a blessing to see the film picked up on Amazon Prime.. I'm so proud to be part of this production and kudos to you Christopher and your team for making it happen!!

16) Being in a feature film and playing such a great character does it take you while to get out of that headspace?

Thankfully I was able to get out of Danny's headspace quickly after shooting.

17) What platform did you watch The Luring on?

I watched the Luring on Amazon Prime.
